Until recently, if you wanted to watch a movie, a trip to a video store like blockbuster was your only option. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. Following is a list of a few movies that you can get using a movie download site.

Lilith: A somewhat accurate rendition of a J. R. Salamanca novel in regards to a novice therapist who falls in love with a bothered subject. Lilith is an investigating, if not completely pleasing, look at the numerous aspects of madness and love. This would be director-author Rossen’s last film. Cast includes Warren Beatty, Jean Seberg, Peter Fonda, Kim Hunter, Jessica Walter, Anne Meacham, and Gene Hackman. (114 minutes, 1964)

Mysterious Lady: An Austrian armed forces officer (Nagel) falls in love with Garbo, clueless that she’s a Russian agent. Another contrived plot made serviceable by Garbo herself. Cast includes Greta Garbo, Conrad Nagel, Gustav von Seyffertitz, Albert Pollet, and Edward Connelly. (96 minutes, 1928)

The Crush: Ludicrous thriller in reference to a twenty-something year old reporter Elwes who becomes the target of a pretty, compulsive fourteen-year-old Lolita Silverstone. The young reporter soon sees that the young girl has a crush on him. Cast includes Cary Elwes, Alicia Silverstone, Jennifer Rubin, Amber Benson, Kurtwood Smith, and Gwyneth Walsh. (89 minutes, 1993)

Sgt. Bilko: Master Sergeant Ernie Bilko has a moneymaking plan for every occasion at Fort Baxter, Kansas. His better half Aykroyd, looks the other way till the sergeant’s long ago arch enemy Chief Thorn Hartman turns up looking for a way to nail Bilko to the wall. Martin continues to be a first rate comic and has the support of a highly adept comedy cast. Cast includes Steve Martin, Dan Aykroyd, Phil Hartman, Glen Heady, Daryl Mitchell, Max Casella, Chris Stone, Richard Herd, and Travis Tritt .(94 minutes, 1996)

Holiday Affair: Well-finished Christmas time tale of war widow Leigh, with a small child, who’s helped by good guy Corey. Cast includes Robert Mitchum, Janet Leigh, Wendell Corey, Gordon Gebert, Griff Barnett, Esther Dale, Henry O’Neill, and Henry Harry Morgan. (87 minutes, 1949)

Million Dollar Baby: Maggie Fitzgerald is a middle-aged woman with a dream. She is determined to become a championship boxer, and she just won’t quite. She needs Frankie, a local boxing trainer to help. He is reluctant at first, but Maggie’s unstoppable spirit sweeps him in.

The Abyss: A nuclear sub has gone down. The government seeks assistance, from nearby oil workers, in their investigation. When they go down to investigate, they make a shocking discovery. There are mysterious things in the depths of the oceans.

Marley and Me: Johnny and Jenny Grogen have moved to Florida to start their new life together. Jenny is ready for children, but John isn’t so sure. Instead, he gets her a puppy, Marley. Marley turns out to quite a bit to handle.

Diner: Complications of growing up are pleasantly harmonized by author-director Levinson in this look at a group of buddies who hang out in a Baltimore diner in the 1950s. Evidently made with care and attention to detail; a genuine sleeper. (97 minutes, 1961)
