If you do PPC Advertising, and do not do your keyword research, you are throwing money away. Fortunately, there ARE easy ways to do this research, and help point you in the right direction of a good advertising strategy.

Why is it most important? Because you want to know what people are typing when they search. Then knowing those keywords, you can put those exact words into the Text Ad for your Pay Per Click Campaign. You want those words in the Headline, then in the body of the ad, and if you can even have them in the URL itself, all the better! Bottom line ” You want to have those keywords all over your ad, and it will increase the likelihood of someone clicking on it. But it is much more than just that.

So while the first element is to mirror what someone is typing in, the second element is to take that list and narrow it down to what keywords to bid on to effectively sell what you have. Now this list may grow, but once you start with a good core list of words, then you can do different variations of that core list. But we need a good starting point and proper keyword research and some common sense will help us build that list.

Let’s use a person trying to sell cars as an example. Using Google Adwords you can determine how many searches were performed using the key words ‘cars’ or ‘used cars’ or ‘used cars for sale’ or even ‘used bmw for sale.’ In a real situation, the bigger your list of potential keywords, the better. However, for this example we are going to limit ourselves to 4.

Cars gets 151,000,000 searches a month. 151 Million! Thats a great word right? Wrong. Even though it gets the most people searching for it, bidding on the term cars would be a complete waste of money. Why? Because it could be searched for almost any reason, and is not specific enough. Especially if were selling used cars.

‘Used cars’ is a much better example. It’s not bad, with about a half million searches monthly, which is decent, but we’re not quite there yet. Because? used BMW cars are our specialty. Are you beginning to follow our strategy? All of this is mere instinct and deduction. Make sure that your keywords specifically relate to the nature of your business, and you’ll do a lot better. ‘Used BMW for Sale.’

Now repeat this process for all the cities you are potentially selling into, and even get more narrow by typing in a model number of the car like, used 325 bmw for sale in Los Angeles Now you see where were going!

Google Adwords Advertising Tips

It is incorrect to believe that the top search terms are the best choices for keywords. This seems logical but it doesn’t take into account the competition. Picking keywords that match the advertiser’s business usually has more of an impact.

Providing terms that are descriptive can draw a better group of people. Using a phrase like “cook books” instead of just “books” will commonly result in more conversions due to the fact that it will appear to people actually searching for cook books instead of just books. Providing a term like “Italian cook books” can result in even more conversions.

A low conversion ratio, or readers who click but don’t end up buying, doesn’t help an advertiser in any way despite the high number of clicks. It will only cost the business more money in fees that are not negated by higher sales. By placing very specific keywords to hone in on a niche advertisers are able to get higher quality clicks. This will lead to a significantly better conversion ratio and a much higher ROI.

Creating keywords requires examining your web site and picking out the words and phrases that describe it. You should also look at other web sites in the same target market. Try to figure out why those sites are good or not and look at how they word their advertisements and content. If they are reaching the target market you should attempt to leverage their terms and phrases where possible.

It helps to consider how a customer might think, too. According to Google, it is a good idea to create a list of search terms that consumers might use when performing an Internet search for specific goods and services. Think about the various ways they may spell some of those terms, too. For example, someone searching for low calorie foods might type “light foods” or “lite foods.” To make sure you attract the greatest number of consumers, be sure to incorporate all possible spellings when creating a list of keywords for your site.

It is vital that you keep track of a campaign’s effectiveness. Google’s conversion tracking tool and Google Analytics can help you do this. They can be used to evaluate each new campaign and any revised versions you may use. If you are disappointed with the clicks an ad draws you can make changes as necessary. Then you can evaluate the results of the changes and fine tune things further if you need to.

SEO and the Economy Scramble

As the customer spends fewer there will be a short augmentation in the Cost Per Click bid as Pay Par Click advertisers try to get an improvement in business. Brief, because without spending by consumers, the advertisers will fall like flies. It is a usual response in business. New advertisers will begin bidding, but at a inferior cost and substitute the front runners that fall down.

Search Optimizers that offer Organic Search Results will be getting a lot of supplementary business. As more and more businesses get the point that it is better to be seen all day every day rather than only when you pay to be seen. Look for good SEO to be in demand and short supply.

Organic Search Results are not Pay Per Click, but they aren’t exactly free either. Providing great ranking and visibility takes diligent work in development, implementation, design, strategy and commitment. When an algorithm with over two hundred individual equations, each maintained and adjusted separately for value and importance by separate teams, no five step process or magic program code is going to fool the search results. SEO is an investment however it has a far better option than Pay Per Click.

The Business of Business Banking has been drying up. As the loans are getting complex to get a business will have to be promoted in less customary manner. No more spending cash at large customary media campaigns and Pay Per Click advertising. The outlay will just confirm out of reach when business is focusing tough on the Return On Investment (ROI).

Good news for SEO. Since trackable progress can be shown when a starting point is established, a plan of attack formed and elements of the plan are implemented. One thing will determine if an individual business will be able to benefit from what SEO can do. How fast what the SEO determines needs to be done is put in action.

If you’re a small business reading this, this is where you can really win in the coming year. The one thing that really stands in the way of big business is that it moves incredibly slowly. Painfully slowly. Small business has fewer people that are busy trying to justify their own importance to the business.

If you work for a big business, it really becomes simple, streamline the process of change or go the way of the dinosaur. The more departments you have to go through to implement change in your industry, the more likely you will be closing your doors this year.

One of the developments in search that have begun to see some focused benefit this past year have been “Local Search.”

If you are traditional business with a physical location that you promote online then this is for you. Say a dentist or lawyer wants to be found in his geographical area, this kind of search will be helpful for you if you optimize your site for it. If you have fixed locations in several cities and only one website, it won’t be much help. If you sell to the world it will be one more thing you have to overcome to be seen globally.

When times get tough, there are opportunities through change.

Organic Search Results are not Pay Per Click, but they aren’t exactly free either.

You’ve probably heard of affiliate marketing before, although maybe not by that name. It’s also known as a partner, sponsor, or associate marketing. If you’ve never made use of affiliate marketing, but you have a business to run… well, now’s the time to get cracking. You’re missing out on a new breed of marketing that is changing the landscape of business forever.

Affiliate marketing provides incentives to outside entities or affiliates to market your products. It sets up a spiderweb style marketing network where the individual strands of promotion eventually all reach into the center where you, the merchant, sits. With the advent of the net, affiliate marketing has become more effective and easy than ever before. It now requires almost no effort to make use of affiliate marketing or become an affiliate yourself. Even the prospective customers barely have to do anything to be a useful and profitable part of the affiliate marketing system.

Tracking an affiliate member?s activities has become very easy for these companies to do. With today?s technology it is easy for companies to track statistics and keep up to the minute records on income generated via the affiliate?s site. Companies can now use reliable pay out systems such as Paypal which also allows both parties to keep receipts of all transactions.

Today?s technology has put an end to the times when affiliate members would have to wait for statistics to be tallied and receive payment. Affiliate programs work well for both the company offering it as well as the participating member. It gives the merchant and opportunity to market their merchandise to possible customers they may have otherwise overlooked. It also gives them advertising for a very low return fee. The affiliate benefits from being able to generate income without having to deal with the day-to-day sales aspect.

The perception of affiliate marketing has greatly increased over the years. As new members learn to employ the techniques of today?s technology they gain a new respect for the marketing that affiliate programs afford. No longer regarded as an inferior means to generate customers, the affiliate program is looked at as a positive system by both the merchant companies and the members.

If you’re still holding back on affiliate marketing, maybe you’ll be more enticed if you explore all the diverse options it can offer you. Not all affiliate programs work exactly the same. By diving in to see what the market has to offer for your personal situation, you can find something to tailor to your exact needs.

To whet your appetite, here’s a quick glimpse at some of the more popular kinds of affiliate marketing. Pay-Per-Click marketing allows you to pay affiliates for each click a visitor makes to travel from the affiliate to the merchant site. Other means of determining payment, such as when a visitor listens to an ad (called Per-Per-Play) or actually buys your product (known as Pay-Per-Performance), are also available. Choose what works best for you and you can be making money hand over fist in no time flat. Remember, every moment you spend not making the most of your company’s potential visibility is a moment where you just lost a customer. With how easy the net makes it nowadays, you have no excuses.

PPC marketing can be a tough way to make a living, but the right ppc software or tools can save you a lot of time and effort. There are a ton of great tools out there, but which ones should you try? I’ve used many pay per click tools myself, and some are quite good, while others are useless. Below is an overview of three of the ones I use the most.

One ad spy tool I use a lot is called Traffic Travis. It’s a fantastic software that can be used for more than PPC. With the PPC Analysis module, the software will track your desired keywords on Adwords to see what ads are showing. After collecting enough data, you will be able to learn which competitors are doing well, and emulate their campaigns.

A keyword tool I use a lot is called Keyword Expander. This is a free web based tool that lets you input different lists of keywords and combine them together. This big list of long tail keywords is especially useful if you running pay per click campaigns on the content network. Use in conjunction with the Google Adwords Keyword Tool and you will have thousands of keywords in no time.

Uploading huge pay per click campaigns with numerous adgroups can be a big pain. That is why I use a pay per click tool called the PPC Campaign Wizard. Using this, I can input all my ppc campaign setup info like keywords and ad copy and the tool will generate what I need to upload it into Adcenter or Adwords. There are expensive pay per click software that do the same thing, but the PPC Campaign Wizard can do the same for free.

Many people make use of one-level programs of affiliate marketing to supplement their primary business income, but if you’re letting yourself be satisfied with just that, you’re doing yourself and your company a disservice. Affiliates that make use of multiple levels of marketing are a much more durable and long-lived than single-tiered affiliates. Support for this concept comes from sources as high as the ‘number one super affiliate of the world,’ Singapore’s own Ewen Chia.

Incorporating affiliate marketing into your business isn’t about shackling yourself to one particular partner. Far from it! No, proper use of the full breadth and sophisticated marketing potential of affiliate partnerships is to use as many different levels and scopes of encouraging extra income as are pragmatically available.

Let’s start out with what affiliate marketing is: it’s selling someone else’s service or product for commission, by recommending the product or solution to people you know will use it (like friends or family, members of a group or forum you are a part of, or co-workers). This allows for effective targeted marketing, because affiliates know exactly who will want to use a particular product or service. There are hundreds of thousands of digital products available for would-be affiliate marketers, which can be found via popular search engines or specific databases that list affiliate marketing programs.

Your chosen hired pros should also be giving you outlines that trace the basic shape and steps necessary for each particular strategy you’ll be marketing with to let your audience know you exist and encourage them to visit your site. Both visibility and use of content are crucial, as one without the other will needlessly limit your base of customers. There should be budgets to keep within and milestones to celebrate when you hit them.

It takes the same amount of effort on your part (get one friend or family member to buy a product), but you can make a great deal more money-if your friend or family member becomes an affiliate marketer for the same program, you earn a commission for everything that they sell as well as what you sell!

A multi-level affiliate program allows you to get paid when other people do work-when the affiliates you recruit through the same amount of work you did selling in a single-tier affiliate program, you can make the equivalent of many single-tier sales without lifting another finger. And if you market a service with a monthly fee, that means that you receive a monthly residual income that can quickly add up; this is something that other forms of internet marketing simply can’t beat.

The amount of money you can make in a multi-level affiliate program is limited only by the number of people you can recruit, and in turn by the number of people they recruit, and so on and so forth. The possible stream of revenue is positively mind-boggling!

When you sign up for Google AdWords, the only goal you must set your eyes on is converting AdWord traffic into sales.

It is a myth that the more people visit your site, the more sales you’ll have.

It is a proven fact that visitors will always become paying clients. Studies about e-commerce say that visitors who are viewing your website for the first time will not buy anything from your site. This is such a waste because one in every seven visitors are actually prepared to buy something.

Converting AdWord traffic into sales require an understanding of the sales process occurring online. You can keep your customer acquisitions expenses low and still increase your sales. This requires converting AdWord traffic into sales. Here are five steps on how to do this:

* Marketing – You must use Google Adwords to address your potential customers’ needs and lead them to your web site.

* Trust is a Must – Your website that uses Google AdWords campaign needs to talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk so that your visitors feel confident doing business with you. If you do not come across as being credible and trustworthy, then your client will shop elsewhere.

* Navigation – Probably one of the biggest losers of sales is your website structure. If you do not have a website that is easily navigated and provides timely answers to visitor questions, then your Goggle AdWords campaign will be an expensive exercise that provides you with little or no positive results.

* Presentation and Motivation – Your website should be presentable to your customers so they are motivated to avail of your products or services. Your site’s aesthetic appeal is a huge factor in converting AdWord traffic into sales.

* Sales Closure – A call-to-action must be placed in your web site to close the sale. This means giving your customers secure options of payment. You also need to provide justification on why your customers should buy from you.

Do you want to earn money online by doing practically nothing? If you do, Google Adsense is your answer. Google Adsense is a way to earn money by placing ads on your websites. It is one of the most popular ways to generate income using the web these days.

Adsense is great because you can start earning money after just a few initial work. This is because the income you earn from Google Adsense is passive income. This means that you only need minimal effort for you to start making money.

Google Adsense works pretty much like owning a commercial building. The first and most important things that you need to do in that business is to purchase the property, hire people to manage it and keep it in shape, and then rent it out. Once you have tenants, you will do nothing more. As long as the people you hired to manage the building and keep it clean are working, you will be earning passive income.

Using your websites, you can earn money through Google Adsense. Google does this by placing ads on your websites. If you are new to this, you will probably ask what ads will be posted on your sites. The answer is ads that are related to the content of your sites. For instance, if you have a website about dogs, Google will send ads that are related to dogs. You will see ads for dog food, dog toys, pet shops, etc. If you have a visitor that clicks on these ads, Google will pay you.

You do not have to worry about finding the right ads for your website because Google will do that for you. Even if your website is not about anything specific, Google will still find ads that will be relevant to your content. The fact is Google have ads for many kinds of businesses in all kinds of industries. So there will be no shortage of relevant ads for your site.

Global and local businesses post ads on Google. This means that ads on your site can be specifically made for your location or country. There are also ads in other languages.

Now that you understand how Google Adsense works, you would want to create an account. You can apply by filling out an application form on their website. There are certain requirements for website content that Google will need to process, but these are not strict. They have only basic requirements for content. Once your website is approved, you can now get an ad code that you can paste on your pages.

Familiarizing yourself with the terms and conditions of Google Adsense is important, however. You must know the policies that Google imposes on those who use this program. If you don’t read the terms and the helpful articles on their FAQ section, you might run the risk of violating the rules. If this happens, your account can be suspended.

But if you already know the policies, you can start enjoying your Adsense passive income. Create your ads and paste the code provided on your web pages. The ads will appear after a few minutes and you are on your way to making money.

Almost every internet marketer has probably installed it at some point in time.
