In my last series of articles, I discussed four types of webinars. With model number two, you can offer a free webinar to help promote your services. This is called a ”How-to Webinar.” If you have a complicated product to sell then this is perfect. You will teach people how to do things in this type of webinar. After that you will then offer your services if it is something that they do not want to tackle themselves. The mortgage industry for example is a great place that the ”How-to Webinars” will work perfectly.

Teaching people to do their taxes and probate are two examples that can be used from the example above. You can even teach them how to choose a qualified professional in this area. Once you have taught them all the things you planned, you will then offer your services to do these for them. You must make sure that you are living up to the standards that you have pointed out to them since after this they will be looking for a qualified professional to help them. You may guide them by indicating the top ten things to look for in a professional. Your competitors may be able to meet up to 5 of these. However, you must ensure that you outdo them by meeting all ten.

These types of webinars can be used as a tool to teach people about the new regulations and rules that have been implemented. One topic that could yield lots of money for any tax attorney would be how to tackle your taxes. The tax attorney can use the beginning of each tax season to put in place the “How-to Webinar” that will teach people about new changes and rules in this sector. They will see all the bureaucracy that is involved, and then he will show how he may help them.

“How-to Webinars” are not being used as much in service-related industries. The truth is that this is one area that could really use webinars. Webinars can be used to educate people about setting up an appointment, making sales, and many other areas in the service industry.

In which service sector could webinars be used? Realtors who are trying to sell under-valued properties to buyers could use them. This could even be applied to realtors that are trying to sell their services and are saying they are better than the competitor. Even health care professionals who are trying to teach their audience about the latest in their field could use a webinar. They can easily teach, and then make a follow-up appointment with these same people.

People nowadays do not know about the different insurance plans that are on the market. Insurance salesmen who are interested in expanding their services can easily explain the different plans that are on the market for different people. Once the webinar is finished, he could then offer a free one-on-one session to help those who are curious to find out more and to help them identify the best plan on the market for them.

Personally I like the whole concept behind a one-on-one consultation. I believe that it is necessary in some industries. However, the important thing here is pre-qualifying people and getting appointments with them. After a webinar, I will only be targeting those people who want to buy. From there I will set up my one-on-one appointments.

Non-profit organizations can also benefit from webinars. They can use the webinars to attract potential donors and show them why they are the best organization to invest with. After the webinar is finished, they can see the website on which they can make their donation.

Easy Webinar Planning For Skeptics

If you were given the opportunity of planning and using webinars for your business, what would keep you from doing so? Webinars are useful tools because you can use them to teach people many things that they would not have the time to learn themselves. Webinar planning is a flexible tool that allows you to teach people around the world from the comfort of your home. You may even learn things from other people who are scattered worldwide without having to travel millions of miles to make this possible.

Despite the pros of webinars, there are a few reasons that some folks shy away from planning and conducting webinars. They close the door to making money online because of the following:

1) The initial expenses that are associated with running and planning webinars are too high. It is true that an initial investment is necessary and that time has to be set aside to learn how to get started, but I should point out that the outcome will be well worth it in the long run. Based on our experiences, my wife and I have never made less than $3000-$5000 when we have hosted a webinar unless we have less than 50 people on the webinar itself. (We always target to host about 50 people on our webinars.) After you have conducted your first webinar, you will see just how your investment has been paid for over time.

2)Real profits only come from big-ticket items when planning webinars. There is no truth to this. Small ticket items such as $29 ebooks are great ways to start because they are both cost effective on both ends. Kerry, my wife, was able to make $16,000 from the webinar that she planned for her $37 ebook called “Raising Leaders, Not Followers.” Based on this, one can readily conclude that popular workshops and high dollars courses are not the only profit-generating magnets online.

3)The technicality behind it is just too much. It is true that there are certain technical issues that have to be taken into consideration when planning and running a webinar. However, it is quite easy to understand. I have a course that is in high-demand to help many people with this part and outlines with step-by-step instructions how to plan webinars. You can also have someone else learn the content for you if you do not want to learn it yourself. When you do this, then you will be more focused on the presentation.

These are all the reasons why people deny themselves the high returns that are possible from hosting webinars. If, however, you are ready to give them a try, then it is time to get started. You will be in awe of the results.
